The expansion, which has taken 12 months to complete, creates a physical presence in the Asia Pacific region to accommodate Criticaleye’s rapidly expanding global Community. Criticaleye Asia will work on the same premise as Criticaleye Europe, utilising its existing Membership Community to facilitate discussion, nurture connections and better equip leaders to address the key business issues they face today.

Criticaleye Chairman David Cheyne said: “This is a very exciting development for us all, extending the reach of Criticaleye into a market that brings both opportunities and challenges for our Members, their businesses and our Advisory Partners. We look forward to welcoming new Members from Asia to the Criticaleye Community.”

Matthew Blagg, CEO of Criticaleye, said: “I am really excited to be able to announce the opening of our Asian operation. Increasingly executive teams are global in reach, responsibility and outlook. Criticaleye Asia will be a key accelerator in the fusion between Europe and Asia.”

Andrew Minton, Managing Editor of Criticaleye, said: “Establishing an operation in Asia is an exciting and necessary step for Criticaleye after the remarkable growth and impact of our Community over the past decade. As the need for leaders to be more global in their thinking grows, the same applies to the networks and communities that support them. The establishment of the Hong Kong-based operation is the next step in our quest to continue delivering relevant, world class service to our Members.”

Charlie Wagstaff, Managing Director of Corporate & Public Sector for Criticaleye, said: “We have been building a unique business community proposition that is global in its reach; this is the next natural step and is extremely exciting for us as Founders and the Community as a whole.”

Criticaleye’s global Community has gone from strength to strength and now boasts Members from Google, Rio Tinto, Bosch and academics from some of the world’s leading business schools. Based in Hong Kong, Criticaleye Asia will be launching Member driven events in early 2014.

Criticaleye exists to create an environment where leaders can collaborate, challenge their thinking and as such transform both themselves and their organisations. Criticaleye Asia will enhance the depth and breadth of our impact and will lead to an explosion of opportunities
